Ceremony Music
Most ceremony venues come with an experienced organist. There is an extensive play list available for your selection, as well as at some venues you can supply your own idea what should be played. As an additional option, other instruments or vocalists can be hired, and offer a great compliment to the organs (not available at all venues).
Typically you will select music pieces to accompany the following parts of the ceremony:
- Processional - When family and wedding party walk down the aisle
- Bridal Processional - When the bride walks down the aisle
- Interlude - Music played during the ceremony and during the signing of the documents
- Recessional - When the newly married couple walk up the aisle together for the first time as husband and wife.
Reception Music
Music adds so much both to the ceremony itself and to the reception. It creates mood and atmosphere, pulls at the heartstrings and it gets everyone ready to party! Your music creates the tempo of your wedding. From the sweet strings of serenading violins to the rousing rhythm of a Brazilian samba, your wedding music sets the tone and scores the mood of your celebration. So, let your repertoire reflect your bridal style - without refrain.
Typically you will select music pieces to accompany the following parts of the reception:
- First Dance - The song played as you dance your first dance as husband and wife
- Father/Daughter and Mother/Son Dances - The songs you and your father and your husband and his mother dance to.
- Cutting the Cake - The music played while you cut the cake.
- Garter and Bouquet Toss - The music played during the bouquet and garter tosses.
- Last Dance - The last song of the night and the tune often keeps with the tone of the first dance song.
- Getaway - The song that accompanies your exit from the wedding reception.
