Václav Vojtìch, Count of Šternberk had a summer residence built in Trója starting in 1679. The manor was built by S. Carlone according to the project designs of J. M. Matheye. The statues which decorate the stairway in the garden were made by artists from Dresden, Jiøí and Pavel Heerman, after 1685.
