Alfonso Mucha Room
The historic Mucha Salon is named after the famous artist Alfons Mucha, who lived in Zbiroh Castle during the early 1900s. The great hall is able to accommodate upwards of 200 people, and housed inside is an original Alfons Mucha art piece, which is curtain he designed for a local theatre group, and is now hanging on the wall of the Mucha Salon. In this very hall, Mucha worked on his famous masterpiece, the Slavic Epic, and from 1912-1928 he and his family occupied the entire floor in the Eastern Wing of Zbiroh Castle.
Attached to the Mucha Hall, you will also find an elongated observatory room offering views into the castle forest.
Please note that you are not permitted to smoke inside the castle. Smokers are kindly asked to step outside into the main courtyard.
Erbovni Salon
The Erbovni Salon is located on the main floor of Zbiroh Castle, near to the castle hotel reception, and attached by large French doors to the fountain terrace. There is a capacity of 100 people in this room, and we recommend to also rent the outdoor fountain area for a cocktail and welcome drink!
Secessions Rose Room
The Secessions Rose Room is located on the second level of Zbiroh Castle, and is available for smaller wedding meals, with a maximum capacity of 30 people. This room is dedicated to the Artist Alfons Mucha, who lived and worked in Zbiroh Castle during the early 1900s, and created his masterpiece, Slavic Epic, while living in this castle. The Rose Room represents his work as the Grand Master of the Masonic Lodge.
Medieval Chateau Restaurant
The Medieval Castle Restaurant is located directly inside Zbiroh Castle, and is available for wedding receptions with a capacity of 50 people in the two connected rooms! Enjoy the medieval bar and furnishing found in this room!
