Grand Hotel Bohemia - Grand Boccacio Ballroom
This unique new-baroque ballroom dates back to the beginning of the 20th century and is located in the heart of Prague, near to Old Town Square, underground, in the basement of a luxurious hotel. It is an exclusive place for balls, receptions, banquets, and dinners. The ballroom was adapted to its previous baroque beauty in all details and a wonderful parquetry was restored too. There also a unique chandelier made of 4,000 pieces of Czech crystal glass which is decorated by hand-made golden leaves.
Why this venue:
We at PragueWeddings refer to this venue as The Phantom of the Opera One. Location is ideal in close proximity of the pedestrian zone, just few steps from the Old Town Square. Even though it looks like very opulent ballroom, it actually feels really relaxed and cozy. Its actually located in -2 level of the hotel so there are NO noice restrictions and you can party and have a DJ until early morning hours :-)

Caroline and Paul: June 21, 2008, St. Jilji Church, Grand Hotel Bohemia
We both want to thank you sincerely for making our day so special and run so smooth. It would not have been possible without you. Everyone is telling us it was the best wedding they have ever been to. Also everyone says they will definitely return to Prague one day. Please also thank Klara, she was just excellent! And the staff at Grand Hotel Bohemia were amazing. Everything was absolutely perfect. I would have no hesitation in recommending Prague Weddings to anybody thinking of a wedding abroad. You may pass my email address to anyone thinking of using the company and wants to contact a past client. Thank you again for everything. And, good luck to you in your future. I wish you nothing but success, health and happiness for the rest of your life.

We can't thank Prague Weddings enough for the wonderful services you provided to us, our family and friends. The wedding day was better than we ever expected and our family and friends are still talking about it. From the very beginning Prague Weddings were wonderful to work with and we'd like to thank Anna, Klara, Martin, Lucie and of course Magda who was simply brillant. Fr Romauld from St jilji's Church was so lovely and made us feel very at ease. The church it's self is amazing and the organist and singer simply took our breath away. We thought the boat cruise would be a nice idea between the ceremony and the reception and it worked out so well. All our guests really enjoyed it. Grand Hotel Bohemia was such a suprise to all our guests. It's such a beautiful venue and was even more beautiful on the day than we imagined it could be. The hotel staff were great and the dj was a real hit. To top it all the atmosphere in Prague with the Christmas markets and activities just added to the whole experience. It was just magical. Overall it was a day we will never forget and it was perfect from start to finish. Thank you all again and we will certainly be reccommending you to anyone planning to get married.
Thank You Again for your Time!
