Art Deco Tower
It is located just a quick drive from the Prague Airport and within a short distance of Prague Castle and the city centre. Dating back to 1950´s it has a long history and shows elements of art deco style.
Hotel Crowne Plaza Prague (known as the International Hotel) is a unique historic building, which in 2000 was proclaimed a national monument. Construction originated in 1952 - 1954 by decision of Defense Minister Alexei Hats. Cap hoping to attend the opening ceremony and Stalin, who had the staircase in the foyer greet all the then 44 generals. Thanks to the two steps were added extra. For this reason, the central building in a different level than the left and right wing. The decoration of the buildings involved prominent Czech artists. The building has 16 floors, total height is 88 m, its own building measuring 67 m.
Art Deco Tower offers a magnificient 360° view across the city, including the Prague Castle area.
