Kost Castle
Dating back to the mid-14th century, Kost Castle is located in the beautiful "Czech Paradise", amongst the famous sandstone rocks. Perched on a cliff in valley, Kost is snuggled in the woody area of Cesky Raj. From its original creation and construction around the year 1358, the castle has suffered serious damage over the years from fires, natural deterioration, and war. But thanks to careful restoration and reconstruction, the Kost Castle maintains the same silhouette as it had in the past.
This Gothic castle is dominated by The White Tower, a five story residential tower. Near the main gate, you will find another small tower, which dates back to the original creation of the castle from the 14th century. Inside the most preserved Gothic Castle in the Czech Republic you will weaponry on display along with famous Kinsky art pieces.
